(5) The connection between rubber properties and transverse pressure. When the hardness of the rubber is greater, the P is greater; when the hardness of the rubber is smaller, the P is smaller.

(6) The connection between rubber temperature and transverse pressure: the lower the temperature, the greater the transverse pressure

(7) The connection between the transverse pressure P and the roll distance e. As for the rubber compound, when e increases, P decreases; when e decreases, P increases.

(8) The influence of roller operating line speed and speed ratio on transverse pressure is more complicated

10. The role, requirements, materials used, structure and classification method of the open mill roller

Function: The roller is the main component of the open mill. In the process of operation, it directly contacts with the rubber material, kneading and shearing the rubber material.


Require:

1. It must have certain mechanical strength and rigidity, and be able to withstand the force of the rubber;

2. The working surface of the roller should have high wear resistance and corrosion resistance, and the surface hardness should not be less than 65° Shore;

3. From the structural point of view, it has a reasonable geometric shape to prevent excessive stress from converging;

4. It has a good heat conduction function, which is convenient for heating and cooling of the rubber;

5. The manufacturing process is simple and the cost is low;

6. The diameter error is 1~0.5mm, and the surface roughness is 3.2~1.6. The factory inspection must ensure that the roll diameter has a positive error.

Material:

Generally, chilled cast iron is used, and the arrangement of the surface layer is hard, wear-resistant, and the hardness of the white layer is not less than 65° Shore
